The Motor Vehicle Licence issued from the 1950s to early 1970s was a circular paper disc on which bilingual specifications were written manually. The Private Car Licence issued during the period is shown at (Figure 7). Since the 1970s, the computerized licensing procedures have introduced a new format of vehicle licence - a rectangular piece of paper (8.3 cm x 10.9 cm) on which computer printouts replaced the manually written particulars (Figure 8). The latest version of the Motor Vehicle Licence (Figure 9) has been adopted since late 1997, which is more or less the same as the previous version.
