When attending the Part A Test (Written Test) or Taxi Written Test, candidates can choose Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, or English as the test language on the computer screen.

Part A Written Test candidates with special needs to take the test using the audio system can apply in writing to the Driving Test Appointment Office for an audio written test before purchasing the driving test form. The Computerized Written Test System provides audios soundtracks of Cantonese, Putonghua or English. When attending the audio written test, candidates can choose to listen to one of the languages among Cantonese, Putonghua or English, and select the correct answer via the touch screen. The time allowed for the test is also 20 minutes.
