Temporary Closure of Victoria Park Road Westbound, Causeway Bay Flyover

     The Transport Department reminded people today (June 7) that to facilitate the erection of an elevated working platform for demolition of the old Causeway Bay flyover, Victoria Park Road westbound would be temporarily closed to all vehicles from about 1am to 5.30am on Saturday and Sunday (June 10 and 11).

     Traffic along Island Eastern Corridor, Hing Fat Street or Tsing Fung Street flyover heading to Wan Chai, Central and Cross Harbour Tunnel will be diverted via King's Road, Causeway Road, Tung Lo Wan Road and Tai Hang Road flyover.

     In addition, the slips road leading to Victoria Park Road westbound and part of the slip roads to Island Eastern Corridor westbound will also be closed.

     Five overnight bus routes (N118, N102, N170, N8P and N691) which operate along the closed roads will be diverted.

     Motorists are advised to pay attention to the traffic signs and take heed of directions of the Police.
