Reminder on five-day week arrangements for Transport Department

　The public is reminded today (August 4) that the licensing offices, driving test appointment offices, driving test offices and written driving test centre, as well as vehicle examination centre of the Transport Department will not open tomorrow (Saturday).

     "Commonly-used application forms are available outside the entrance of licensing offices, driving test appointment offices, driving test offices and written driving test centre, as well as vehicle examination centre," a spokesman from the department said. "Members of the public can put their applications into the drop-in boxes, which are accessible throughout the day at the Licensing Offices. Our staff will follow up the applications immediately on the coming working day."

     The spokesman pointed out that most services provided by the department could be obtained by post, by fax, through the ESDlife website or by using drop-in boxes.
