Traffic arrangement for the Lan Kwai Fong Carnival 2006
The Transport Department announced today (October 12) that the implementation period for the part-time pedestrian precincts at D'Aguilar Street, Lan Kwai Fong and Wo On Lane in Central will be extended to facilitate the Lan Kwai Fong Carnival 2006.
The period of road closure for Lan Kwai Fong, Wo On Lane and the section of D’Aguilar Street between Wyndham Street and Wellington Street part-time pedestrian precincts will be advanced from 2pm on October 13 and implemented continuously to 4am on October 16. During the period, these streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic, except for authorised vehicles.
Motorists are reminded not to enter these streets during the pedestrianisation hours and to pay attention to traffic signs provided on site.
