Special transport arrangements for "Hong Kong Book Fair 2007"

The Transport Department today (July 17) reminded the public that to meet additional passenger demand from extension of opening hours of the "Hong Kong Book Fair 2007" at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition centre (HKCEC) on Friday and Saturday (July 20 and 21), the following special transport arrangements will be implemented on these two days:

1. The frequency of sailings from Wan Chai to Tsim Sha Tsui between 8pm and 11pm (last sailing) and from Tsim Sha Tsui to Wan Chai between 8pm and 10.50pm (last sailing) of Star Ferry will be strengthened to 8-12 minutes.

2. Two special Cross Harbour bus routes 105R (to Mei Foo) and 111R (to Yue Man Square, Kwun Tong) will be operated from HKCEC (new wing) at Expo Drive from 10pm to 1.30am of the following day at intervals of 10-15 minutes.
