Phase Four application of PVRM scheme ends on September 12

The Transport Department has reminded people that applications for a Personalized Vehicle Registration Mark (PVRM) in the fourth invitation exercise should be submitted on or before September 12.  Late application will not be accepted.

Applications can be dropped in the collection box at any of the department's Licensing Offices or sent by post to Vehicle Registration Marks Unit, Transport Department, Room 506-508, 5/F, Harcourt House, 39 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.  Applications by mail will be accepted based on the date of the postmark.  No payment of deposit is required at this stage.

Before completing the application forms, applicants should carefully read the Guidance Notes for Application.  Each applicant can only submit one application in each exercise.  They should note that after the submission of applications, they cannot withdraw the application or change arrangements of the PVRM as stated in their application forms.

A department spokesman said that for applicants whose applications had not been selected by lot in the third exercise but who had authorised the department to roll over their applications, if they wanted to submit another application in the fourth exercise, they should take note of, and complete where appropriate, the part on Authorisation/Withdrawal of Authorisation in the application form.

The application forms (TD569) and Guidance Notes can be downloaded from the department's website www.td.gov.hk, and are also available for collection at its Licensing Offices as well as the Public Enquiry Service Centres of the Home Affairs Department.  For enquiries, applicants can call the department's hotline at 2804 2600.
