Public can vote in TD Best Customer Services Awards

  The Transport Department will hold the "Best Customer Services Awards 2007-2008" between November 26-30.  Members of the public are invited to nominate frontline staff of the Driving Services Section, the Vehicle Safety and Standards Division and the Licensing Section (including the Licensing Unit, the Vehicle Inspection and Records Unit, the Cross Boundary Unit and the Public Vehicles Unit) for the awards.

     "The objective of the awards is to encourage our frontline staff to keep providing quality service to the public and to demonstrate our service belief of 'Putting our hearts into it'. We are determined to provide quality customer service that meets our customers' expectations," a department spokesman said today (November 19).

     People are invited to visit participating offices during the election period and nominate the best frontline staff for the award.

     "There will be 54 individual and group awards. Announcement of the result and the award presentation ceremony will be held in late February, 2008," the spokesman said.
