Special traffic and transport arrangements at Garden Road Peak Tram Station on May 30

    The Transport Department today (May 28) issued a reminder that special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 7am to 11pm this Friday (May 30) in connection with the Peak Tram 120th Anniversary celebration activities at the Garden Road Peak Tram Station.

    The unnamed road from Garden Road leading to the World Wide Fund For Nature Hong Kong Office, No. 1 Tramway Path, will be closed to all vehicular traffic except for taxis and franchised buses.

    The taxi stand outside Lower Peak Tram station will be temporarily relocated to the lay-by at Garden Road outside St. John's Building.  Also, all the parking spaces within the road closure areas will be temporarily suspended.

    Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists.
