Latest public transport situation (up to 6.30 pm)

     Public transport in Hong Kong has mostly resumed to normal today (August 6) after the typhoon.

     MTR, New World First Bus, KMB and Citybus services are gradually resuming normal. Peak Tram, Tramways, Lok Ma Chau-Huanggang Shuttle Bus (Yellow Bus) and New Lantao Bus Company have resumed normal services.

     Most of the ferry services have resumed.

     Members of the public should contact public transport operators for specific service details and remember that, although the situation is returning to normal, some delays may occur.  They are advised to be patient.

     They are also advised to listen to TV/radio broadcasts to obtain the latest news on road conditions.
