Closure of services of Transport Department

     The Transport Department announces that the public services under the Department, i.e. the Licensing Offices, Cross Boundary Unit and Vehicle Examination Centres will be closed immediately following the Hong Kong Observatory's announcement that the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal Number 8 is expected to be issued at or before 8 am today (August 22). The Driving Examination Centres will be closed after completing the driving tests of those candidates already arrived at the test centres.

     Members of the public having scheduled for vehicle examination today should make reschedule appointments with the Vehicle Examination Centers as soon as the centers re-open.

     Candidates having scheduled for driving test today will be individually informed of the alternative arrangements.
