The special traffic and transport arrangements mainly include:

* From about 1.30pm, Caroline Hill Road between its junction with Leighton Road and Cotton Path, and the section of Hysan Avenue westbound between Sunning Road and Hoi Ping Road will be closed.

* From about 6pm, Caroline Hill Road, Eastern Hospital Road, Link Road northbound, Hoi Ping Road and Leighton Road will be closed for the dispersal of spectators until crowd disperses and road closures are lifted.

* During the period of road closures, several franchised bus, Green Minibus (GMB) and residents' service routes will be temporarily diverted.  Affected routes include:

* From about 6pm, franchised bus cross harbour route 117R will operate from Hong Kong Stadium to Mong Kok.

The TD anticipated that the traffic in the vicinity of the Hong Kong Stadium would be significantly congested.  Motorists are advised to avoid driving to the affected areas. In case of traffic congestion, motorists should exercise tolerance and patience, and follow the instructions of the Police.  People planning to go to the affected areas are advised to make use of public transport services.

The TD and the Police will closely monitor the traffic situation and will implement appropriate measures whenever necessary.  Motorists and the public are advised to be alert to the latest traffic news on radio and television stations.
