Public to vote for Transport Department's best frontline staff

     The Transport Department will hold the "Best Customer Service Awards 2011/2012" election from November 21 to 25.

     "Through this election, we would like to encourage our frontline staff to continue providing quality service and exhibit the department's belief of 'Putting our Hearts Into It' to the public. It also demonstrates our determination to provide quality customer service that meets our customers' needs," a department spokesman said today (November 14).

     All frontline staff of the Vehicle Safety and Standards Division, Driving Services Section and the Licensing Section (including the Licensing Unit, the Vehicle Inspection and Records Unit, the Cross Boundary Unit and the Public Vehicles Unit) are eligible for nomination and voting by the public for the services they have provided. Members of the public are invited to visit the participating offices during the election period and vote for the best frontline staff.

     A total of 54 awards will be presented. Election results will be announced and the award presentation ceremony will be held early next year.
