Tenders invited for trial installation and evaluation of real-time traffic and incident detectors

     The Transport Department today (May 25) invited tenders for the trial installation and evaluation of real-time traffic and incident detectors (Contract No: TD 4/2012).

     The project aims to review the functionality, performance and cost effectiveness of selected traffic detection equipment in Hong Kong conditions. The works are scheduled to commence in August 2012 and will take about 14 months to complete.  The works mainly comprise the design, supply, installation, commissioning, testing and dismantling of a series of real-time traffic detection equipment and the associated data collection and analysis.

     Interested contractors may obtain the forms of tender and further particulars from the office of AECOM Asia Company Limited at 8/F, Tower 2, Grand Central Plaza, 138 Sha Tin Rural Committee Road, Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong.

     Tenders must be placed in the Government Public Works Tender Box located in Room 4128f, 41/F, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong before noon on June 22, 2012 (Friday).
