     Public transport services
     -------------------------

A total of 90 bus routes and seven green minibus routes operating in the affected areas will be temporarily diverted. Public transport operators will arrange publicity to inform passengers of the temporary arrangements. Members of the public can make enquiries to the bus companies' hotlines on the details of the arrangements. The minibus stands at Sugar Street and Tang Lung Street will also be temporarily suspended.

Due to extensive road closure, the TD anticipates that the traffic from Causeway Bay to Central will be very congested. Motorists are advised to avoid driving to the affected areas. In case of traffic congestion, motorists should exercise tolerance and patience, and follow the instructions of the Police. Members of the public who plan to go to the affected areas are advised to use public transport services.

The TD and the Police will closely monitor the traffic situation and implement appropriate measures whenever necessary. Motorists and the public should stay alert to the latest traffic news on radio and television.

Details of the special traffic and transport arrangements are now available at the TD's website (www.td.gov.hk). For further queries, please call 1823.
