Middle Road Multi-storey Car Park to cease operation on July 1

The Transport Department today (June 27) reminded the public that the Middle Road Multi-storey Car Park Building in Tsim Sha Tsui will be closed to tie in with development needs and the car park will cease operation on July 1.

"Starting from noon on June 30, no entry of vehicles for hourly parking will be allowed by the car park contractor, whereas parkers holding valid monthly tickets can continue to park their vehicles until the closure of the car park. All car park users are reminded to remove their vehicles from the car park before the closure time. After midnight on June 30, any vehicles found parked at the car park will be towed away and parking and towing fees will be charged as appropriate," a department spokesman said.

Notices have been displayed at the car park to inform motorists of the closure arrangements. After the closure of the car park, members of the public are advised to use public transport as far as possible when traveling to Tsim Sha Tsui.
