Special transport arrangements for Hong Kong Book Fair 2014

   The Transport Department (TD) today (July 15) reminded the public that special transport arrangements will be implemented this Friday (July 18) and Saturday (July 19) to facilitate the extension of opening hours of the Hong Kong Book Fair 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on those two days.

   The special transport arrangements will include:

* The last "Star" Ferry sailing between Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui will be extended to 11.30pm on July 18 and 19. The headway of the ferry service will also be enhanced to 8 to 12 minutes between 8pm and 11.30pm; and

* Two special cross-harbour bus routes, 105R (to Mei Foo) and 111R (to Yue Man Square, Kwun Tong), will be operated by the bus companies from HKCEC Phase II at Expo Drive from 10pm on July 18 and 19 to 1am of the following day. The headway will be 10 to 15 minutes with a fare charged at $15.5.
