Public transport services
-------------------------

A total of 63 bus routes and three green minibus routes operating in the affected areas will be temporarily diverted. As there may be updates on bus services due to traffic changes arising from other road closure arrangements, members of the public are advised to be alert to the latest service arrangements announced by bus companies before starting their journeys.

Due to extensive road closure, the TD anticipates that the traffic from Causeway Bay to Central will be very congested on that day. Motorists are advised to avoid driving to the affected areas. In case of traffic congestion, motorists should exercise tolerance and patience, and follow the instructions of the Police. People who plan to go to the affected areas are advised to use public transport services as far as possible.

The TD and the Police will closely monitor the traffic situation and implement appropriate measures whenever necessary. Motorists and the public are advised to be alert to the latest traffic news on TV and radio.

Details of the special traffic and transport arrangements are available at TD's website (www.td.gov.hk). Please call 1823 for any enquiries.
