Deadline for application of public light bus operation approaches

Transport Department reminds members of the public who are interested in operating fifteen new green minibus routes in Kowloon and the New Territories that their application should be submitted before 12 noon on April 19, 2002.

Application form "Application for Passenger Service Licence in Respect of the Packages of Public Light Bus (Scheduled) Routes Gazetted in March 2002", together with details of the new routes and "Guidance Notes for Tenderers", is now obtainable free of charge on request from the following Transport Department offices:

	Transport Department Headquarters, 41/F., Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong;
	Transport Department Kowloon and New Territories Regional Offices, 7/F., Mongkok Government Offices, 30 Luen Wan Street, Kowloon;
	Hong Kong Licensing Office, 3/F., United Centre, 95 Queensway, Hong Kong;
	Kowloon Licensing Office, 2/F., Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon;
	Kwun Tong Licensing Office, 5/F., Kowloon East Government Offices, 12 Lei Yue Mun Road, Kowloon;
	Sha Tin Licensing Office, 2/F., Sha Tin Government Offices, 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin.

Completed application forms must be enclosed in a plain white envelope sealed and marked on the outside of the envelop "Application for Passenger Service Licence in Respect of the Packages of Public Light Bus (Scheduled) Routes Gazetted in March 2002" and placed in the Transport Department Tender Box situated at the reception counter of the Transport Department Headquarters on the 41/F., Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong before 12 noon on April 19, 2002 (Friday).

Application by and other means or late applications will not be considered.
