Provision of one more autotoll lane at Cross Harbour Tunnel Toll Plaza Hong Kong-bound to begin on Sunday

     The Transport Department (TD) today (April 27) reminded the public that to improve the existing vehicle queuing condition at the Cross Harbour Tunnel Toll Plaza and to meet public demand for using autotoll lanes, one more autotoll lane will be provided at the toll plaza (Hong Kong-bound) from Sunday (April 29). The new autotoll lane will be implemented on a trial basis in the first month.

     The second-right toll lane (S9) of the Hong Kong-bound toll plaza will be temporarily suspended from 2am to 6am on Sunday for the modification works. It will become an autotoll lane after re-opening.  

     Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on-site to guide motorists.
