Drivers with disabilities reminded not to use old tunnel tickets

Transport Department today (July 8) reminds that the old Government Tunnels Disabled Driver Tickets and Tsing Ma Control Area Disabled Driver Tickets are no longer in use with effect from June 1.

Drives with disabilities are reminded to produce the new version of tickets when traveling through government tunnels and the Lantau Link. The government tunnels include the Aberdeen Tunnel, Cross Harbour Tunnel, Lion Rock Tunnel, Tseung Kwan O Tunnel and Shing Mun Tunnels.

They should return the unused old tickets to the department for replacement of new tickets. No old tickets will be accepted for replacement after September 30.

Applications for new version of tickets or replacement of unused old ones can be made at the following Licensing Offices:

* Hong Kong Licensing Office: 3rd Floor, United Centre, 95 Queensway, Hong Kong;
* Kowloon Licensing Office: 2nd Floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Office, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon;
* Kwun Tong Licensing Office: 5th Floor, Kowloon East Government Offices, 12 Lei Yue Mun Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon;
* Shatin Licensing Office: 2nd Floor, Sha Tin Government Offices, No. 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Shatin, New Territories.
