Public Transport Services for School Village in Tsz Wan Shan

Transport Department today (August 31) announces that public transport services will be strengthened with effect from the first school day on 2 September 2002 to cater for the transport demand arisen from the opening of the new schools at the School Village in Tsz Wan Shan.

Students on MTR Kwun Tong line can interchange for the following franchised bus or green minibus services at Wong Tai Sin, Diamond Hill or Choi Hung Stations:

Wong Tai Sin Station

	Board at eastbound Lung Cheung Road outside Lung Cheung Mall for KMB routes 2F, 3C or GMB route 33
	Board at Ching Tak Street GMB terminus for GMB route 33M

Diamond Hill Station

	Board at eastbound Fung Tak Road outside Hollywood Plaza for KMB route 3B
	Board at Diamond Hill MTR Station Public Transport Interchange for GMB routes 19, 19M or 33S

Choi Hung Station

Board at westbound Lung Cheung Road outside Tan Fung House for KMB routes 3D or 3M

Students may also consider using the following direct public transport services for their journeys to the School Village:

	KMB routes 2F and 3C on eastbound Fu Mei Street, Wang Tau Hom;
	KMB routes 3B, 5C, 116 and 203E on eastbound Choi Hung Road, San Po Kong;
	GMB route 19 on Yi Lun Street, San Po Kong; and
	GMB route 65 on eastbound Chuk Yuen Road, Wong Tai Sin.

Alighting points of the above services are available on Po Kong Village Road outside the School Village, on Tsz Wan Shan Road opposite Tak Oi Secondary School and at Tsz Wan Shan (South) Bus Terminus.

Transport Department also reminds students to set out earlier, allow more time for their journeys to schools and avoid last-minute rush on the first few school days.
