Public Transport Interchanges at TKO to open

The Transport Department reminds members of the public that the new public transport interchanges (PTIs) at Hang Hau MTR Station, Tseung Kwan O MTR Station and Tiu Keng Leng MTR Station will be opened for operation tomorrow (August 11). Routes and terminus of some bus services will be reshuffled accordingly.

Details of the public transport services arrangements are at Annex.

Notices will be displayed at all bus termini and bus stops and GMB stops along the routes of the services at Annex for passengers' reference. In addition, the bus companies will deploy bus regulators on site to give guidance to bus passengers.

The spokesman noted that it may take some time for the public to get familiar with the changes in routeing and relocation of terminal points of the bus and GMB routes to these PTIs. He reminded passengers to take this into account these changes when planning their journeys to avoid last minute rush.

Hang Hau MTR Station PTI

Relocation of Terminal

* Route 298E, to relocate the terminating point from Hang Hau (North) Bus Terminus to Hang Hau MTR Station PTI; and

* GMB 101, 102 and 102S to relocate the terminating point from Sheung Ning Road to Hang Hau MTR Station PTI.

Re-routeing

* Routes 98A, 98C, 296M and 298B, to re-route via Hang Hau MTR Station PTI; and

* GMB 11, to re-route via Hang Hau MTR Station PTI.

Tseung Kwan O MTR Station PTI

Relocation of Terminal

* Routes 796C and 796X to relocate the terminating point from Tseung Kwan O (Bauhinia Garden) to Tseung Kwan O MTR Station PTI.

Tiu Keng Leng MTR Station PTI

Relocation of Terminal

* Routes 792, 796, 796A and 796B to relocate the terminating point from Tiu Keng Leng (Choi Ming Court) to Tiu Keng Leng PTI.

Po Lam PTI

Re-routeing

Route 296M, to re-route via Po Lam PTI.
