Octopus Bus-Bus Interchange Schemes extended
Transport Department (TD) today (August 6) announces that Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) and New World First Bus (NWFB) will extend their Octopus Bus-Bus-Interchange (BBI) Schemes to bus routes serving Tseung Kwan O area this month (August).
A TD spokesman said with effect from August 11, passengers travelling on KMB Route 296M (Hong Shing Garden - Sheung Tak) can interchange with 18 local routes including Routes 91M, 93A, 93M, 95, 95M, 98A, 98C, 98D, 98P, 93K, 296A, 296C, 296D, 297, 293P, 298, 298P, 298B at discounted fares. A discount of $3.5 (for air-conditioned buses) or $2.7 (for non air-conditioned buses) is offered on the second leg under this scheme.
Upon the opening of MTR Tseung Kwan O Line on August 18, additional seven BBI schemes will be provided to passengers using the following bus routes:

The spokesman said: "We will continue to liaise with transport operators to encourage them to provide interchange concessions to benefit passengers."
