Nomination of best licensing frontline staff invited

Members of the public are invited to nominate the best frontline staff at the Best Licensing Service Awards 2003 election to be held from January 20 to 24.

A spokesman for the Transport Department said: "The objective of the activity is to recognize the quality service provided to the general public by the frontline staff of the department. It also helps promote the performance pledges of the department as well as to demonstrate its continued commitment to improving the quality of licensing service."

During the nomination period from January 20 to 24, members of the public can cast their vote to select the frontline staff who they think has provided the best licensing service at Licensing Offices, Vehicle Inspection and Records Unit, and Cross Boundary Unit. They can obtain a nomination form from the participating offices and drop the duly completed form into the ballot boxes there.

The participating offices are:

	Cross Boundary Unit, Room 1032, 10/F, Harbour Building, 38 Pier Road, Hong Kong

Announcement of 20 winners of the award will be made by end February 2003. Each of the 20 nominators will be given a gift coupon of HK$100 by a lucky draw.
