Traffic Accident on Tung Chung Road (1)

The Transport Department (TD) announces that the whole Tung Chung Road is now temporarily closed due to an accident involving an oil truck. All bus services via Tung Chung Road are also temporarily suspended.

As it is not known when the road will be re-opened, TD has arranged a special ferry service from Tung Chung to Tai O, setting off at 2.15 pm.

For passengers from Tung Chung to southern Lantau, they can take the special coach services from Tung Chung Bus Terminus (next to Tung Chung MTR Station) to Discovery Bay, and then make use of ferry to go to Mui Wo. For enquiry and details about the service, please phone to 2987 7351.
