Temporary Traffic Diversion on Causeway Bay

     To facilitate the reconstruction of Causeway Bay flyover, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from about 9am on Sunday (July 31) for  about two weeks:

- Motorists on Causeway Bay Flyover heading to Tai Hang (and Causeway Road) shall keep left immediately after passing the road bend on the flyover;

- Motorist on Causeway Bay Flyover heading to Causeway Bay (and Gloucester Road service road) shall keep right immediately after passing the road bend on the flyover.

    Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to remind motorists.

    "Motorists are advised to drive carefully and pay attention to the traffic signs," a government spokesman said.

    The reconstruction works began in June this year and are expected to take about two years to complete. Upon completion, road capacity will be improved to relieve traffic congestion at the Causeway Bay Flyover and the Island Eastern Corridor eastbound outside Victoria Park.
