ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(Chapter 374)
Restricted Zones in Pak Wan Street, Shek Kip Mei
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 16 June 2009, the following road sections in Shek Kip Mei will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(a) the northern kerbside lane of Pak Wan Street from a point about 25 metres west of its junction with the access road leading to Yun Tin House, Pak Tin Estate to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction; and
(b) the section of the access road leading to Yun Tin House, Pak Tin Estate from its junction with Pak Wan Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
