ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(Chapter 374)

Restricted Zone in Cheung Sha Wan Road, Lai Chi Kok

                In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 3 July 2009, the western kerbside lane of the slip road leading from Lai Chi Kok Road westbound to Cheung Sha Wan Road eastbound (near public light bus stand) from its junction with Cheung Sha Wan Road eastbound to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction will be designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

                Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

  (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
  (b)  loading or unloading goods.

                The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
