Restricted Zone on
In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 10 July 2009, the eastern kerbside lane of Wo Tai Street from a point about 70 metres north of its junction with Luen On Street to a point about 110 metres north of the same junction will be designated as a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(i) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(ii) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
At the same time, the existing restricted zone at the above section of road will be rescinded.
