ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374)
Restricted Zone on
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 18 August 2009, the eastern kerbside lane of Hing Fong Road from a point about 15 metres north of its junction with Kwai Hing Road to a point about 100 metres south of the same junction will be designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zone for public light buses from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily on the above road section will be rescinded.
