ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS

(CHAPTER 374)

 

Prohibited Zone for Articulated Vehicles

 on Hing Shing Road, Kwai Chung

 

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10:00 a.m. on 21 August 2009, the section of Hing Shing Road from its junction with Kwai Fuk Road to its junction with Ko Fong Street will be designated a prohibited zone for articulated vehicles from 12.00 midnight to 7.00 am daily.

 

Drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving articulated vehicles into the above prohibited zone from 12.00 midnight to 7.00 am daily.

 

The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.

 

At the same time, the existing prohibited zone for vehicles exceeding 11 metres in length from 12.00 midnight to 7.00 am daily on the above road section as gazetted on 11 May 2007 under G.N. 3015 will be rescinded.
