ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (Chapter 374)

SPEED LIMIT IN TSEUNG KWAN O

       In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 5 March 2010, the following road sections in Tseung Kwan O will be subject to the speed limit as specified below:-

(A) 50 kilometres per hour

(i)  Po Hong Road from a point about 50 metres south of its junction with Po Lam Road North to a point about 60 metres south of its junction with Wan Hang Road;
(ii) Po Fung Road from its junction with Po Hong Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
(iii) Po Fung Road from its junction with Po Hong Road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction; and
(iv) Wan Hang Road from its junction with Po Hong Road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction.

(B) 70 kilometres per hour

(i) Po Hong Road from a point about 60 metres south of its junction with Wan Hang Road to a point about 120 metres north of its junction with Tong Ming Street;
(ii) Wan Lung Road from its junction with Po Hong Road to a point about 18 metres east of the same junction; and
(iii) Ling Hong Road from its junction with Po Hong Road to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

       At the same time, the speed limit of Po Hong Road, Po Fung Road, Wan Hang Road, Wan Lung Road and Ling Hong Road as gazetted under G.N. 8548 of 2001 and G.N. 694 of 2008 will be rescinded.
