ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(Chapter 374)
Restricted Zones on Tai Hang Tung Road, Shek Kip Mei
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 5 March 2010, the following road sections on Tai Hang Tung Road will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(a) the western kerbside lane of Tai Hang Tung Road from its junction with Lung Chu Street to the junction of Tai Hang Tung Road and Nam Shan Chuen Road;
(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Tai Hang Tung Road from its junction with Lung Chu Street to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction; and
(c) the southern kerbside lane of Tai Hang Tung Road from a point about 70 metres north of its junction with Lung Chu Street to the junction of Tai Hang Tung Road and To Yuen Street.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
