Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)

PROHIBITED ZONES IN

          TUEN MUN STATION PUBLIC TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE, TUEN MUN

 

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation (14)(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.01 am on 14 March 2010, the Tuen Mun Station Public Transport Interchange will be designated prohibited zones 24 hours daily as below:

 

a.       Drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses, public light buses (scheduled services) and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the south-western section of the Tuen Mun Station Public Transport Interchange;

 

b.      Drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the south-eastern section of the Tuen Mun Station Public Transport Interchange; and

 

c.      Drivers of all motor vehicles, except taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the taxi bay in the northern section of the Tuen Mun Station Public Transport Interchange.

 

The exact boundaries of the above prohibited zones in Tuen Mun Station Public Transport Interchange are delineated by hatching on the drawing shown in the Schedule.

 

            At the same time, the existing prohibited zones of the outdoor Tuen Mun Station Public Transport Interchange as gazetted in G.N. 7774 dated 2 December 2007 will be rescinded.
