ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS

(CHAPTER 374)

 Restricted Zone in Tsing Yi

           In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 30 April 2010, the eastern kerbside lane of the access road leading from Tsing King Road to Tivoli Garden from a point about 110 metres north of its southern junction with Tsing King Road to a point about 145 metres north of the same junction will be designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.

           Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

           (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

           (b)  loading or unloading goods.

           The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

           At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section as gazetted on 15 January 2010 under G.N.258 will be rescinded.
