ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)

 

 

SPEED LIMIT ON CASTLE PEAK ROAD – TAI LAM, TUEN MUN

 

 

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 23 April 2010, the section of Castle Peak Road – Tai Lam from its junction with Tai Lam Kok roundabout to a point about 670 metres north of the same junction will be subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

 

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

 

At the same time, the speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be rescinded.
