ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374)
Prohibited Zones in Mui Wo, Lantau Island
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulation, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 14 May 2010, the unnamed access road north of Ngan Shu Street, starting from a point about 140 metres west of the junction of Ngan Shu Street with Ngan Shek Street will be designated as prohibited zone 24 hours daily.
Drivers of all motor vehicles, except emergency vehicles and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into the above prohibited zones 24 hours daily.
At the same time, the existing prohibited zone on the unnamed access road, starting from about 300 meters west of junction of Ngau Shek Street and Mui Wo Committee Road, between its junction with Mui Wo Committee Road and a point about 26 meters south of the same junction as gazetted under G.N. 5235 on 21 August 2009 will be rescinded.
The extent of the prohibited zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
