Tender Result of

"Aberdeen - Mo Tat - Sok Kwu Wan" Licensed Ferry Service  

       Members of the public are advised that the Transport Department invited tenders in December 2009 to select a ferry operator to run the "Aberdeen - Mo Tat - Sok Kwu Wan" licensed ferry service. According to the tender assessment result, a new ferry service licence is granted to Chuen Kee Ferry Limited to operate this licensed ferry service.

       The ferry service licence is for a period of three years commencing 1 June 2010, which upon application from the operator may be extended subject to satisfactory performance of the operator in provision of the ferry service.  The service level and the fare of the ferry service to be provided under the new licence will be the same as the existing arrangements.

       Appropriate notices will be put up by the ferry operator at relevant piers to inform passengers of the details of the operating arrangements of the above ferry service.
