ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS

(Chapter 374)

 

Restricted Zone on Lai Chi Kok Road, Cheung Sha Wan

 

                In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 23 July 2010, the southern kerbside lane of Lai Chi Kok Road from a point about 135 metres west of its junction with Hing Wah Street to a point about 165 metres west of the same junction will be designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

 

 

                Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

 

(a)   picking up or setting down passengers; or

                  (b)   loading or unloading goods.

 

                The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

 

At the same time, the existing restricted zone of 8.00 am to 10.00 am and 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily (except general holidays) on the above section of road will be rescinded.
