Speed Limit on Jockey Club Road
In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 30 July 2010, the following sections of Jockey Club Road will be subject to a speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour:
(a) The eastbound carriageway of Jockey Club Road between Sha Tau Kok Road and Lok Yip Street; and
(b) The westbound carriageway of Jockey Club Road between Sha Tau Kok Road and Lok Yip Street.
At the same time, the existing temporary speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be rescinded.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
