TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE

 

CHANGE OF IMPLEMENTATION HOURS OF MONG KOK PEDESTRIANISATION SCHEMES

 

               Notice is hereby given that with effect from 4:00 pm on 2 August 2010, the implementation hours of the following sections of pedestrian streets will be, as a trial, shortened and ended 1 hour earlier. The new implementation hours are from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm from Mondays to Saturdays, and from 12:00 noon to 11:00 pm on Sundays and general holidays:

 

(a)   the section of Sai Yeung Choi Street South between Argyle Street and Dundas Street;

 

(b)   the section of Nelson Street between Sai Yeung Choi Street South and Fa Yuen Street; and

 

(c)   the section of Soy Street between Sai Yeung Choi Street South and Fa Yuen Street.

 

                   Drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving into the above pedestrian streets during the implementation hours.

                                   

                  The implementation hours of pedestrian street at the section of Tung Choi Street between Argyle Street and Dundas Street remain unchanged. (Please refer to the figure)
