ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)
Restricted Zones at Po Yip Street and Keung Yip Street, Yuen Long
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 13 August 2010, the following sections of roads will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(i) the section of Keung Yip Street from its junction with Po Yip Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction, and
(ii) the western kerbside lane of Po Yip Street from a point about 16 metres south of its junction with Keung Yip Street to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
