ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (Chapter 374)

SPEED LIMIT ON TAI PO ROAD (MA LIU SHUI SECTION), SHA TIN

                   In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 2 October 2010, the section of Tai Po Road (Ma Liu Shui section) from a point about 120 metres north of its junction with Lai Ping Road to a point about 160 metres north of the same junction in Sha Tin will be subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

                   At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be rescinded.

                   Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
