ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zone on an Unnamed Access Road connecting Pok Oi Interchange

and Castle Peak Road Westbound in Yuen Long 

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 15 October 2010, the section of an unnamed access road from a point about 1300 metres west of its junction with Pok Oi Interchange to a point about 1340 metres west of the same junction will be designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

      Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

      (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

      (b)  loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
