TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE

Extension of Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Sai Ying Pun

              Notice is hereby given that the following temporary traffic arrangements will continue to be implemented with effect from 0.01 a.m. on 27 July 2011 to 5.00 p.m. on 31 January 2013 to facilitate the constructions of MTRCL West Island Line:

1. the section of Ko Shing Street between Li Sing Street and Des Voeux Road West will be temporarily closed;
2. vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length will be temporarily prohibited from entering the section of Ko Shing Street west of Sutherland Street; and
3. vehicles from Ko Shing Street heading for Des Voeux Road West westbound will be temporarily diverted via Sutherland Street northbound.

              Appropriate traffic signs have been erected on site to guide motorists.
