ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 21 October 2011 to 6.00 pm on 19 October 2012, the section of the eastbound carriageway of Tai Chung Kiu Road from a point about 20 metres east of its junction with Fo Tan Road to a point about 200 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above section of road will be temporarily rescinded.
