Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)

 

Prohibited Zones in Lok Ma Chau

 

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.01 am on 15 February 2012, the following sections of roads will be designated as prohibited zones 24 hours daily:

 

1.       San Tin Tsuen Road;

2.       Saikwo Road; and

3.       the section of Tun Yu Road from a point about 60 metres west of its junction with Saikwo Road to its junction with Lung Hau Road.

 

Drivers of all motor vehicles, except for access or those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any motor vehicles into the prohibited zones 24 hours daily.

 

The extent of the prohibited zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
