Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)

 

Prohibited Zone on Tam Kon Chau Road, Lok Ma Chau

 

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.01 am on 15 February 2012, Tam Kon Chau Road will be designated as a prohibited zone 24 hours daily.

 

(A) For vehicles exceeding 10 metres in length

       

Drivers of all motor vehicles exceeding 10 metres in length, except school buses or those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any motor vehicles into the prohibited zone 24 hours daily.

 

(B) For vehicles not exceeding 10 metres in length

       

        Drivers of all motor vehicles not exceeding 10 metres in length, except school buses, for access or those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any motor vehicles into the prohibited zone 24 hours daily.

       

        The extent of the prohibited zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
