ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Extension of Temporary Restricted Zone in Woh Chai Street, Shek Kip Mei

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1 April 2012 to 31 May 2012, the northern kerbside lane of Woh Chai Street from its junction with Shek Kip Mei Street to a point about 55 metres east of the same junction will continue to be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zone has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
